You can find a slower rhythm on the forest eco-trails, mushroom picking or exploring the labyrinths. Surrounding of Beli is a real oasis of wild untouched nature, with 50 kilometres of laid out paths and mystic labyrinths.

Tramontana - habitat of the griffon vultures
The Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus) is
one of the greatest natural values of Tramontana, on the island of
Cres and in fact of the whole of Croatia. On Cres they have two
ornithological reserves (‘Podokladi’ in the centre and ‘Kruna’
on the northern part of the island) and there are around 70 nesting
pairs. The Tramontana reserve is named Kruna, which is the name of
the cliff in Podbeli where the griffons (known in Beli’s dialect as
‘orli’) are always nesting.
